Have fun, help others and get great experience by becoming a volunteer during your time at the University of Bolton. The university has a long tradition of working with local voluntary groups and charities, and Bolton University students are known throughout the area for their commitment and enthusiasm. The skills developed by volunteers are in great demand.

What kind of activities are available? There’s a wide range of different opportunities from sports to community or environmental volunteering. University of Bolton volunteers have been involved in initiatives from anti-bullying projects in primary schools to painting a centre for the homeless to beach cleaning at Fleetwood.

Interested in getting involved?

You can volunteer on an ad hoc basis; or get involved in longer term projects – it’s up to you. You will find a warm welcome and opportunities for amazing, rewarding experiences. The university has a dedicated volunteer office that helps match students with opportunities, and provides support and training.
