The University of Bolton has had a successful partnership with ISTT (In-Service Training Trust) in Lusaka, Zambia since 2010.

The partnership currently uses a part franchise arrangement. All programmes include delivery from University of Bolton tutors but some modules are delivered by ISTT tutors in their entirety. Each programme is managed by a Link Tutor from the University of Bolton. The programmes are delivered in ‘block mode’: Students are required to attend four day blocks of teaching every six to seven weeks. These blocks are delivered over the weekend to assist work based learners and minimise the amount of leave from work required.  Students also have extensive support via a Virtual Learning Environment (Moodle). Students have access to ISTT’s campus facilities and the University’s online study resources. Postgraduate programmes are offered as detailed below.  The link tutors also monitor the programme.

  • MSc Supply Chain Management
  • PhD by Research
