The event welcomed a range of guest speakers from the creative industries, who took time to explain their professional journeys to the next generation of budding artists and designers. The Transition Towards Aspiration conference aims to support students considering a future in the creative arts: illuminating pathways to success; connecting young people with exciting employers from across the creative industries; and focusing on wellbeing and the support available to students in their transition.

The event also saw the launch of the University’s Transition towards Aspiration competition, with students being invited to submit pieces in four categories related to the topic of mindfulness. The competition deadline will be Wednesday 31st January with an Awards Ceremony and private viewing on Wednesday 14th February. This will be followed by an exhibition of all entries open for the following week.
