Bolton Business School to offer full ACCA offering from August 2017

Posted on Friday 28th April 2017

The University of Bolton will launch a full ACCA programme (F4 to P7) from August 2017, building upon the current offering at professional level.

The University is excited to offer this formal qualification to students who are looking to become fully qualified accountants.

The Business School has been delivering undergraduate programmes in Accounting and Finance over the last fifty years, which enables graduates to gain significant exemptions from the ACCA, CIMA and ICAEW papers.

It has also been running the final year papers (Professional) level of the ACCA since 2013 and have consistently exceeded global pass rates. This has resulted in gold partner status with the professional body.

The Business School plans to relocate to the new Institute of Management based next to Bolton train station in 2017/18.

The ACCA course is aimed at anybody working within accountancy practice or industry, including graduates and AAT qualified students who now wish to become fully qualified ACCA accountants.

All of the lecturers are experts in their given field and hold professional accountancy qualifications with experience in industry and practice.  Additionally, staff either hold or are studying for a PhD in an accountancy area.

Lecturers have worked at Kaplan and BPP and have delivered courses to employees working in multinational companies’ (industry) and Big4 accountancy firms (practice).

At Bolton Business School every student matters and will be allocated a dedicated tutor as they study on the ACCA programme.

The course fees are extremely competitive and include tuition and revision, a Kaplan text book and all learning materials.  The fee per paper at the fundamental level is £500 per paper and £600 per paper for the final year professional programme.
