Moving IT Equipment to Another Office
If you are planning to move to another office, you must first have authorisation from Facilities (3921).
After receiving permission, contact the caretakers (3526/3529) to arrange a date and time for moving your equipment.
Once you have received a date and time, raise a task for IT Support using the form located in the Logging a Task
section (please give at least 48hrs notice). Someone from IT Support will then come and disconnect your equipment as near to that allocated date and time as is possible.
Once the move is complete, either:
- return to the task update page (you will find the link in your task request email) and request the equipment be re-connected using the Add Update to Task section.
- ring IT Support Services Helpline (3444 – quoting your task number) and request your equipment be re-connected.
Moving IT Equipment Within The Same Office
Raise a task for IT Support using the form located in the Logging a Task section (please give at least 48hrs notice). You will then receive an email notifying you of your task number and a link to monitor or update your task. Someone from IT Support will then come and disconnect, move and setup your equipment at a convenient date and time.
