The University of Bolton Alumni Association forms part of the Directorate of Institutional Advancement.
The Bolton Alumni Association is a great way of remaining involved with the University and ensuring a continued great relationship with the University.
The Alumni Association continue the relationship built from the student’s time with the University of Bolton by sharing news and ideas and working hard to stay in touch.

How to join the Bolton Alumni Association
Former graduates are not automatically registered for the Alumni Association, but registration is quick and simple. Please click here to register if you are a graduate of the University of Bolton. Bolton Institute and Technical College graduates are also invited to register with the University of Bolton Alumni Association.

Dr Tony Keating - Owner of Keating Supercars
Amongst the University’s alumni is entrepreneur and supercar designer Dr Tony Keating, who studied Automobile Engineering at Bolton Institute during the Nineties, went on to achieve an MBA and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in 2013.
The course enabled him to begin work in the engineering industry and in 1998 he set up his own business.
Tony was born in Manchester and is one of the University’s most successful Alumni. Now CEO of Keating Supercars, his company is currently celebrating a decade in business, and preparing to drive full throttle into another decade with the Keating Berus. The Berus is set to be unveiled at the Monaco Top Marques show in April 2017.

Library for Life and other CPD benefits
When your course has finished your Library account will be valid until the October after your graduation. You may then apply for the Library for Life Alumni Scheme.
You may join the Library for Life Membership Scheme for a fee of £20.00. (Please note this is a one off payment only and is subject to having no loans or fines outstanding on your former student account.)
A library check will be made first through the Alumni Office before we process any Library for Life Application Forms. Library for Life Membership Scheme will also give you access to CPD course discounts and other benefits (subject to availability).
