Teaching Responsibilities

Lecturer – Business and Management

I joined the University in early 2015 having spent several years teaching in a number of higher education institutions. Most recently, I spent a number of years working as a Senior Tutor at Kaplan Higher Education, preparing international undergraduate and postgraduate students for their studies at the University of Liverpool Management School. Prior to that role, I held teaching posts at Wigan and Leigh College and the University of Derby .

Before embarking on a career in education I worked in a number of different roles for a range of public and private sector organisations, amongst them Bosch and the NHS.

I hold a BA (Hons) in Business Management and a Post Graduate Certificate of Education in Business Education. I have also completed a Master’s Degree LL.M in Business and Commercial Law.

My areas of academic interest include but are not limited to: organisational behaviour, SMEs, corporate governance, business law, public sector management, widening participation, work based learning and pedagogy in business education.
