The information contained on this page is intended to introduce you to our services for off-campus users, i.e. those of you on distance or online courses, courses run at partner colleges, those of you working from home or visitors to the library.
You are entitled and welcome to use all the facilities that the Library offers, however, we do recognise the fact that you will spend little or possibly no time on campus.
We hope that this page tells you everything you need to know about how to access our facilities from wherever you are, and make the most of your studies.

Borrowing and Borrower Services
In addition to the services listed on the Library Services| page you can also reserve books by phoning the Library, we will check whether the books you want are available. We will, wherever possible, put them aside for you to collect within a day or two or else we can place a reservation on the item.
Fines are as follows:
3 week loans

10p per day for first 2 weeks, then 25p per day

Student Services
Student Services are based in the Student Centre, Eagle Mall at the Eagle Campus. It is staffed by a team of Student Advisors providing information, advice and guidance to students (prospective, current and past) and staff. Student Services will deal with all enquiries about general support services.

Online Student Record
This link provides access to your individual student record. Here you can view the personal details that the university holds about you and you can update your address, telephone number and personal e-mail address. You can also view your assessment results via an intermediate transcript. You will need your username and password to access this information.

MyFiles - Accessing Your Network Drive Remotley
To access your M drive from outside the University campus:
https://myfiles.bolton.ac.uk/|
Note that you might have to enter your password a few times (we are enquiring with network people about this) to get initial access but after that, it is perfect!
