Student Led Teaching Awards
Every year Bolton SU asks students to nominate the best lecturers, supervisors, support staff and course reps at the University of Bolton in the Student-Led Teaching Awards. It’s students’ opportunity to say a big “thank you” to the staff and other students that make this university work, and the extraordinary commitment they show to making this university what it is today.
There are a range of categories that you can nominate in, and we even have some categories that celebrate the work of outstanding academic societies and course reps! Nominating is simple, you can do it online Click Here or by filling out a form at our nomination stations in Chancellor’s Mall, Bolton One Reception, Queens Building Reception, NCME First Floor and Institute of Management Reception
This year’s categories:
- Outstanding Lecturer
- Outstanding Supervisor
- Outstanding Student Representative
- Employability Enhancement Award
- Best Support Staff
- Exceptional Personal Tutor
- Society of the Year
The winners are chosen by a panel of students and a senior staff member from the university. The SLTA’s aren’t about popularity, as winners are chosen because of the quality of the nominations, not the quantity, so if a lecturer has inspired you, a member of staff has gone the extra mile or an academic society has improved your student experience – let them know they are appreciated and nominate them in this academic year’s Student Led Teaching Awards.
