The University of Bolton International Society aims to bring Bolton’s international students and interested UK students together in a social and recreational environment. It’s open to everyone at the university and is a great way of making new friends and seeing more of the North of England and the rest of the UK.
Membership of the Society is great value at only £3 for the academic year.
For Semester 1 academic year 2016/17 we have some great activities and trips planned including a weekend trip to London and Oxford, events in Bolton including exploring the town and Bolton Christmas lights switch on, attending a Bolton Wanderers Football Match and Manchester Christmas Markets.
In Semester 2 we are planning to arrange a weekend trip to Edinburgh, a visit to Media City (home of the BBC), Cadburys World Birmingham and a visit to the North West seaside town of Blackpool.
All trips are subject to availability and numbers.
Once you become a member of the Society you will receive details of all events planned, when they will take place and the cost. As a Society we get the best value for money on all of our trips making it a great way to experience the town and the rest of the UK.
We will also be arranging social and cultural activities on campus throughout the academic year.
