Monday 10th October is World Mental Health day and to mark the occasion, the Disability Service is organising a number of activities celebrating wellbeing for all. This will be in the Social Learning Zone and Mall in the University between 11am and 2pm.
There will be a ‘Feelings Wall’ where staff and students alike are invited to take time out from their busy day to paint, draw or write down their feelings whilst listening to music. They will also have the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing massage provided by the staff from Bolton One Sports Centre or work off stress with an energetic game of table tennis. Zara the University PAT dog will also be available for cuddles and to listen to staff and students.
There will also be stalls with representatives from Student Union, the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Clinic in the Life Lounge and Disability Services.
The event is open to both staff and students and there will also be an opportunity to relax and chat at café style tables with tea, coffee and cake.
We look forward to seeing staff and students there!!
