The University of Bolton understands that you, as a parent, guardian, advisor or teacher, need as much information as possible to provide guidance and advice for your students.

The Government’s White Paper talks about putting students at the heart of the system; the University of Bolton has always held its students at the heart of its world. When we ask our students what they value highly one point that comes back time and time again is our commitment to the individual. We believe you are ‘a name, not a number’ and that is one of our key strengths.

You will have no doubt seen in the news that the majority of universities are charging £9000 Tuition Fees for students starting a degree in 2012. The University of Bolton, however, has made the decision not to charge this and have pledged not to profiteer from our students. This is why we are charging a range of variable fees between £6300 and £8400 as detailed below;

  •  £6300 – Classroom-based courses (e.g. Business Management or English)
  •  £7200 – Studio-based/resource intensive courses (e.g. Art & Design or Law)
  •  £8400 – Laboratory/specialist courses (e.g. Engineering or Biology)
