Activities Within the Students' Union

One of the best ways to start meeting new people and to develop extra-curricular interests is to join one of our various clubs or societies.  Clubs and societies play an important role in expanding your social activities, help you meet like-minded people and allow you to develop new interests.

All our clubs and societies are run by students for students.  These are students that dedicate some of their own time in running these acitivities.

The majority of our sports clubs represent the University of Bolton in leagues organised  by BUCS (British Universities and College Sports), and are generally played on Wednesday afternoons.

We have a few societies, but if there is none that is of interest to you why not start your own.  Starter packs can be obtained from the Students' Union.

 HOW TO JOIN

Freshers Fair is usually the best time to join; there you will meet the officers who run the clubs and societies.  All students who join clubs and societiew will have to complete a membership form.  Alternatively visit the Students' Union offices in the Chancellor's Mall.  Here you will find the Student Activities Co-ordinator who will be available to answer any queries or questions you may have regarding UBSU Clubs and Societies.
