United Kingdom's University of Bolton in Greater Manchester, has received an excellent start with its new campus in Ras al Khaimah, UAE (United Arab Emirates). The campus has over 280 registered students and offers a broad range of the university's undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Built Environment , Engineering , Business and Computing/Information Technology .

Message from the Academic Director

On behalf of all the staff at the University of Bolton, I would like to welcome you to the University of Bolton, Ras al Khaimah Campus in the United Arab Emirates.

The University of Bolton, Ras al Khaimah campus aims to provide higher education using the ethos, environment and processes devised and controlled by the main campus in the United Kingdom. The RAK campus students are a part of the University of Bolton's student community and are no different to students at the main campus.

Located in the heart of a booming Middle East, Ras al Khaimah attracts tremendous inward investment as it welcomes people and organisations from across the globe. It is therefore paramount that such growth is complemented with life opportunities for education and training.

At the University of Bolton and indeed at the RAK Campus, we are a community of professionals committed to high quality teaching and developing our students for their professional lives.

As a student, you will be based on a modern, compact campus in the centre of Ras al Khaimah where operations will be managed with small teaching and tutorial groups on many courses. You can be sure you are a name and not just a number.
We offer a wide range of courses in a variety of subject areas on full and part time basis which will support your professional development. Many of our courses start in September and February.

Our teaching quality has consistently won the highest ratings possible from the United Kingdom Government's quality control agency and we have professional accreditation for some of our teaching programmes. Indeed all modules delivered at the University of Bolton, RAK campus uses with total synchronicity, the same curriculum, assessments and quality measures to that implemented at the main campus. To this end, it is possible to have staff and student exchange between the Ras al Khaimah and the UK campus.
The University is proud of its track record in delivering excellent student satisfaction and in particular University of Bolton international students rank their university top in the UK for learning, according to a new survey by i-Graduate. Bolton ranked first in the UK for expert lecturers, assessment, academic English and employability of graduates.
