Teaching Responsibilities

Associate Lecturer in Psychology with Foundation

I have a BSc (Hons) Psychology and following this I went on to complete an MSc in Occupational Psychology. For a short time I worked for the Co-operative Insurance Society in HR where I was involved in selection and assessment, and then moved on to work for the Civil Service, where I stayed for the following ten years. It was whilst working in this post that I achieved Chartered Psychologist status in 2009.

My areas of interest are vocational rehabilitation, working with employers to encourage supportive environments; employee engagement; leadership; positive communication; occupational stress; health and well-being at work; career guidance coaching.
