Lecturer in Psychology
Having been lecturing at Bolton since 1993 my teaching areas range from undergraduate modules such as Personality and Development, Cognitive Psychology and Research Methods, to postgraduate areas that focus on developmental psychology.
As part of my work, my main areas of academic interest include analogical reasoning, attachment and theory of mind development. Indeed, my own PhD examined analogical reasoning in pre-school children.
I recently presented a paper at the BPS developmental conference in Worcester, and am currently working on a paper focusing on analogical reasoning abilities in young children using abstract materials.
