Transport Engineering and Planning

Overview

Jane is an Associate Director based in the Manchester office of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff and has over 26 years’ experience in both the design and development of transport related infrastructure, and associated assessments and evaluations, for a wide variety of public and private sector clients in the UK and overseas.  She leads and manages the Development Planning team in the North West and project manages the traffic and transportation inputs on a variety of major development schemes in the UK. 

Jane has extensive experience in the coordination and management of transport masterplanning projects, supervising the preparation Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and Transportation contributions to Environmental Impact Assessments, and gathering baseline data for translation into coherent movement strategies and accessibility appraisals underpinning regeneration and redevelopment proposals. She has undertaken a variety of initial ‘opportunity and constraint’ type assessments for development sites on behalf of both private and public sector clients and also has experience of understanding and assimilating wider community issues and ways of addressing them that enables schemes to be implemented quickly and effectively.
