Lecturer in Biology
With a BSc in Science and the Environment, a PhD that examined the behavioural enrichment of ruffed lemurs and professional experience that includes working in Madagascar, my main areas of interest include Malagasy carnivores and lemurs, the environmental enrichment of captive animals and the management and husbandry of endangered fish species.
I am a member of both the Mammal Society and the Primate Society of Great Britain, and also act as a reviewer for Zoo Biology.
My academic responsibilities cover modules including Animal Biology, Behaviour and Psychology, Laboratory Skills and Fieldwork, and Research Methods.
