This programme is open to any graduate located in the North West regardless of university of study, and any final year student studying a higher level qualification (including post graduate).Contact: Dr Phil Lawton  pjl1@bolton.ac.uk  ( 01204 90 34 30 / 07711 113255)

  3. Graduate Gateway -   - University of Salford - Graduate Gateway includes two elements: five days of high-quality intensive training focused on developing your employability and encouraging you to reflect on your personal and professional strengths, and a 13-week work placement which is paid at minimum wage or above. You can apply directly for work experience placements or complete the training and then apply for a placement. This is a free programme for unemployed / under-employed graduates. There are no charges made to graduates. The criteria used for selection will be:
    - Recentness of graduation: graduate gateway is primarily aimed at those who graduated in 2009 and 2010.
    - Location: priority will be given to graduates who live in the Greater Manchester and North West region
    - Career interests: we cannot guarantee any participant a placement; however, in the event of a large amount of applications being made, priority will be given to applicants whose interests match potential employer placements.
