The Careers Service
Careers Service
Whatever stage you are at with your career planning, from fresher to final year student and beyond, the Careers Service at the University of Bolton is here to help!
All students at the University of Bolton can access the Careers Service for impartial information advice and 1-1 guidance at all stages of the career planning and decision making process. We have experienced Careers Advisers linked to each Academic School, to discuss your ideas, potential occupations and other career development needs and aspirations. We offer a range of skills workshops such as CV writing, help with application forms, interview techniques and self presentation.
We have a Job Shop that specialises in finding part time and vacation work which can be combined with your studies, and we have a dedicated Coordinator who will help to source volunteering opportunities to develop and enhance your employability skills further. We hold a job and volunteering fair annually, working in partnership with employers and external organisations to ensure our students know and understand what it is like to look for graduate employment in an ever changing economy.
Career and employability information and resources are available via our website, and we have a range of career planning resources that can be accessed within our careers centre.
