About the journal
The University has established and manages the Journal of Learning and Student Experience, a peer-reviewed online journal which aims to help teachers, students, managers and researchers to disseminate their ideas, opinions, research and work on learning and the student experience in further and higher education. We welcome contributions from new and established authors.
The journal publishes:
- research articles
- literature review articles
- practitioner research / case studies
- "Lessons from the Front Line"
- opinion pieces
- the student experience
- workshop and conference abstracts
- conference reviews
- book reviews.
Additionally, we will provide short videos on some of our featured authors.
Examples of themes that fall within the scope of the journal are: teaching and learning, assessment, student engagement, the curriculum, employability, technology-enhanced learning, and students as researchers.
