Family run business TJ Lift Solutions of Darwen were introduced to the University of Bolton by Business Link NW in order to help them improve the quality of management information from their Sage Accounting software. Having recently appointed an experienced administrator to assume the book-keeping role, it was evident after an initial review by one of our Business Development Managers, that 4 half-day training sessions would bring this key member of staff up to speed with the latest version of Sage.
In parallel with these workshops, by way of some bespoke consultancy work, the historic data was archived. A fresh install of the Sage software ensured that only up to date commercial data was retained and then loaded such that the company now has available accurate and timely information, at the 'press of a button.'
The final stage of the project involve 2-3 months of mentoring support to ensure that the Directors and Administrator have good knowledge of the new system and are able to make decisions based upon a sound foundation of Financial Control.
