Paradigm is a national project supported by the European Social Fund. The project aims to help the visual arts sector’s development by offering 70 individuals the opportunity to grow their skills and knowledge in areas of Public Art, Photography and Graphic Design.

The project offers affordable, flexible professional development through higher level Masters degrees in the visual arts sector at the University of Bolton.

The programme aims to work with industry experts, offering mentoring, shadowing schemes and industry lead assignments to help creative individuals become more industry focused.

The Paradigm project began in September 2006 with MA Public Art and will run until December 2007. Each course will run for a minimum of 1 year (F/T) with MA Photography & MA Graphic Image starting in January 2007.
