In partnership with The Childrens Safety foundation the University are continuing to run a series of 10 week anti-bullying classes at 3 local Primary Schools aimed at Year 5 pupils.

The classes are run by university students who have applied to undertake the training provided prior to beginning the project. The students work in pairs and, alongside the class teacher, are responsible for the delivery of the programme utilising teacher resource packs and workbooks which have been purchased by the University.

This extremely valuable project not only leads to a much greater awareness about bullying and its effects on the part of the children but also provides a unique insight into work with primary age children for our students.
