Welcome to the University of Bolton SRC 2016

On Wednesday, April 27, 2016, the University of Bolton will convene the Annual Student Research Conference (SRC 2016), a 3-Day University-wide Celebration of Student Research, Scholarship, and Creative Achievement.

The SRC is open to all students of the University of Bolton. It is an opportunity for undergraduate and postgraduate students, including those who graduated in summer 2015, to voluntarily share knowledge with their peers, faculty, community, guests, and reviewers through oral and poster presentations, technology showcases, roundtable discussions, and studio and performing art.

The SRC 2016 encourages students to develop professional oral presentation, writing, and document design skills to communicate their research to a multi-disciplinary audience. It is hoped that faculty will formally integrate the SRC 2016 event into course schedules and syllabi by incorporating relevant assignments. Some suggested ways of doing this will be listed on the Info for Faculty page.

All accepted abstracts will be published in the printed Abstract Book (ISBN tba).  In addition, the abstracts will be available on the SRC 2016 website (as an e-book) and the University of Bolton Institutional Repository (UBIR).

Students learn the most when they engage in their own searches for knowledge and discovery, and presenting and defending their output in public. The SRC stimulates this journey and supports our TIRI Strategy.

The SRC 2016 is partially funded by the University of Bolton Learning Enhancement Fund (LEF).
