Courses Advice Days
What happens on a courses advice day?
Courses advice days are designed to provide information for anyone thinking of studying:
-
an undergraduate course
-
a postgraduate course
-
a professional development course
-
a short course
They are more intimate than our open days and offer you the chance to chat individually to tutors from each academic school and find out more about your course of interest. School tutors will be able to give you detailed information about the course content and the learning and assessment methods used. If you are interested in studying part-time our course tutors will also be able to give you an idea of the hours you will be expected to attend.
Representatives from the disability service, student finance team and careers service will also usually be on hand to discuss any additional support needs you may have, advise you regarding tuition fees, student finance and funding as well as offer guidance regarding your future career and increasing your employability.
Applicants for undergraduate courses may also wish to visit one of our open days| for a chance to look around the campus.
When are the courses advice days?
