Entry requirements

14-19 Diplomas

The University welcomes applications from students studying the new diploma lines.

The new diplomas at level 3 will be accepted as entry qualifications for our undergraduate courses, including degrees, foundation degrees, and HNC and HND courses. The Advanced Diploma will be accepted as equivalent to three-and-a-half A2-levels at grades A*-E, and the Progression Diploma as equivalent to two-and-a-half A2-levels at grades A*-E.

The Higher Diploma (which is at level 2) will be accepted as equivalent to seven GCSE passes at grades A*-C. The Foundation Diploma (which is at level 1) will be considered equivalent to five GCSE passes at grades D-G.
