Join the Student Associates Scheme

The Student Associates Scheme (SAS) was set up to help students who are considering teaching as a career and who would like to make a difference in a school and get the "feel" of teaching while they're still at university.

The Scheme gives you a chance to:

• discover what teaching is really like
• work alongside experienced teachers on a 15 day paid placement
• develop new skills such as mentoring. SAS students will act as role models and have the opportunity to use their gifts, knowledge and skills to help young people towards higher education and to help raise attainment in schools
• undertake a 15 day paid placement (£40 per day) in a school as close to you as possible.
