Can I visit the University of Bolton before I choose my course?
We have two open days shortly after the A-level/AVCE results are published so you can come and attend a presentation about the subject of your choice, meet our tutors and other prospective students, have a tour around campus and visit our halls of residence.
We feel it's essential for you to find out as much as you can about your future course and university environment. This way you'll know what to expect from us, and just as importantly, what we will expect from you. For this reason we wish to ensure you come and find out what we have to offer before starting your course and hope that your visit will help you choose the University of Bolton as the best place to study for you.

Why visit on an open day?
This is your chance to find out more about the subject you are interested in - to meet our tutors and get further details about the course. You'll also get a feel for the University environment and have an opportunity to see our facilities, including the halls of residence, the library, sports centre and the students' union. We'll also be providing tours of Bolton town centre so that you can see the other amenities that are close to campus.
Academic staff will be available to give help and advice on the subject area of your choice, and to make you an immediate offer of a place. Student services staff will also be on hand to discuss any support needs that you might have as well as give advice on housing and financial matters.
What if I still have questions after I've visited?
No problem - just call our Clearing team on 01204 903030 and they'll help you find the answers.
Alternatively, you can drop in to student services in Chancellor's Mall anytime between 8.45am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
