Exchange and Visiting Students

Exchange Students

The University of Bolton has an exchange relationship with a number of international universities. Students nominated by institutions with which the University of Bolton has an exchange relationship in the appropriate subject area and level may apply as Exchange Students. Exchange students are not required to pay tuition fees.

Most of the University's exchange relationships are within Europe and are governed by the Socrates-Erasmus Programme of the European Union, so most of the Exchange Students who join us are also Socrates-Erasmus students.

Your home institution's International Office or Socrates-Erasmus Office will be able to tell you whether there is any exchange agreement in place with the University of Bolton and advise you how to apply for nomination.
