What is Clearing?

In August, if your results are not quite as good as you would have hoped, or if you have only just decided to apply to university, clearing offers you the chance to gain a place at university. The clearing vacancies for all institutions are published on the UCAS website and in the Independent newspaper on A-level/AVCE results day.

How do I apply through Clearing?

Clearing is really aimed at UCAS applicants. However, over the Clearing period, the University of Bolton will consider late applications.  For details of how to apply please visit our How to Apply| webpages.
