ECCILES Assembly
Event Cancelled
Friday 12th February 2010 at the University of Bolton
A systematic approach to problem solving
Have you tried to solve a problem and come across barriers or conflicting interests?
How would you break down that problem and piece away conflicting interests?
How have perceptions of all involved affected the end result?
Spend a day with the ECCILES team and learn how to analyse a problem from different perceptions.
The day will involve using the TRIZ tools and TRIZ Inventive Principles to solve problems in an systematic way. Delegates will get the opportunity to understand perceptions and how they can impact on a problem, apply the inventive principles, come up with some solutions of their own and deal with conflicts and contradictions when trying to solve a problem.
See how the methodology has been applied to the ECCILES project and some of the benefits it has had on the project.
This event is free and open to academic and support staff within the HE/FE sector.
