How to Pay

 

 

Your tuition fees and accommodation fees are paid to the Financial Services Unit at the University.

The University will accept most credit and debit cards at the cashier’s counter in Chancellor's Mall. Cash, cheques and bank drafts will also be accepted. All cheques and bank drafts should be made payable to The University of Bolton and can be posted to the Financial Services Unit at the address below. Please don't forget to write your name, address and Student Reference Number on the back.

Payments can also be made credited directly into the University’s bank account at the Co-operative Bank in Bolton. Please ensure that you quote your student number when making payment.

Tuition Fees

There are three main payment options:

Pay Fees in Full

You can pay for your tuition fees in full in October.

3-Part Payment Plan

You can pay for your tuition fees in 3 instalments in October, January and May. You must arrange this with Financial Services in advance.

Direct Debit

You may arrange to pay fees by Direct Debit over 8 months (October to May). If you would like to pay in this way you can collect a form from the Student Advisers|.

Accommodation

You will be required to pay a £100 deposit to secure a place in the university halls of residence|.

Again there are three main payment options:

Pay Fees in Full

You can pay the balance of your accommodation fees in October. If you pay for your accommodation in full before mid-October (date to be confirmed) you will receive a £100 discount on your accommodation fees.

3-Part Payment Plan

You can pay for your accommodation fees in 3 instalments in October, January and May. You must arrange this with Financial Services in advance. Your accommodation deposit will be used as part-payment for your October instalment.

Direct Debit

You may arrange to pay fees by Direct Debit over 8 months (October to May). If you would like to pay in this way forms are available from the Student Advisers|.
