Staff with children under the age of 17 (under the age of 18 where the child is disabled) have the right to request flexible working. From April 2011 this provision has been extended to those with caring responsibilities.
There is flexibility in terms of time off work to attend hospital appintments, doctors and dental appointments - highlighted in "Other Leave Entitlement" details.
The University doesn't run a flexitime system at present, although our Library are currently piloting a Flexi-time System.
