The School of Business and Creative Technologies is seeking to appoint a Senior Research and Teaching Fellow. The position is in Leadership and Management and has been created to research, develop and teach on new specialist executive programmes, for businesses/industry and deliver some complementary pilot projects within the School.
The role will be challenging and provides the opportunity to join an expanding and progressive School.
As a Research and Teaching Fellow you will take responsibility for preparing Course content by engaging with the Industry. Additionally you will need to create session plans, devise develop and deliver lectures on the Industry Pathway Programmes.
As a Senior Research and Teaching Fellow you will also be the Industry Pathway Leader.
Experience required:-

Significant experience of teaching in Human Resources Management modules at post-graduate levels in higher institutions.

Able to engage with industry to create relevant modular programmes.

Demonstrable experience of reviewing/assessing student development needs and providing appropriate mentoring and supervision.

A proven track record of achieving high targets in student examination successes.
Skills required:-

Use of a VLE to support module delivery.

Strong leadership, management and teaching skills.

Excellent communication skills.

Competitive and results driven with the ability to inspire students to achieve their goals and targets.

Ability to act as a positive catalyst for business and cultural change.

Strong team player with a positive and flexible approach to developing cohesion across multiple disciplines and teams.
Salary in the range of £32,458 - £37,650 per annum*.
*It is expected that a new appointee will commence at the bottom of the grade.
