The University of Bolton’s School of Law, in partnership with the University of New York in Prague, has launched a new Law Master’s (LLM) Programme in International Commercial Law.
Professor Hardy, Dean of the School of Law remarked at the launch of this new venture for the University that “This is an exciting project with our off-campus partners in a high demand area of law”.
As the law tutors met before the start of this innovative programme, training was given by Chris Grant from the University’s Off-Campus Division and Dr Tasnim Ahmed, the Law School LLM Programme Leader and Link tutor. As the tutors gathered to plan the delivery of modules in European Business law, International Trade Law, International Business Law, amongst others, the focus was on student-centred learning in comparative law.
‘As this new programme demonstrates, we at Bolton are at the cutting edge of legal developments and are steadfast international in our legal outlook. As the post-BREXIT landscape comes ever closer, the global legal world expands, where we have to embrace EU and international more. A new comparative programme such as that in Prague facilitates this transition right at the heart of Europe,’ said Professor Stephen Hardy.
The Prague Masters’ Programme commences on 21 October 2017.
