Shiva Kiran BOPPANA
Brief introduction of research:
My Interest into research was because of the foundation in my School (Atomic Energy Central School) in INDIA. I have done my Bachelors of Science with Physics Chemistry and Math's as options. Then continuing that did Masters in Physics through research. My research work was in the study of Luminescence using inorganic crystals.
After completion of Masters, I worked as a Research project staff in Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology ( DIT, Govt of India) on a DIT funded project for research and production of Metal powders using Gas atomization Technology.
My present work consists of Engineering of Band Structure in Semiconductors. The work consists of multidisciplinary aspects like physical, chemical, metallurgical and computations. The base of the work is on Density Functional Theory using computer simulations.
