Field Visits
Field trips are an integral part of the biology and environmental studies degrees at the University of Bolton. This is a part of the course that allows you to get hands on experience. The field trips allow you to see the plants and animals you are studying at close quarters and learn more about their behaviour and habitats. Learning how to manage and conserve biodiversity is also an intrinsic part of our fieldwork programme.
There are a number of field visits in all three years of study enabling you to develop your field work skills and expand your knowledge of the natural world as you progress with your course. Students find the field trips enjoyable and they give you the chance to develop your team working skills and get to know your fellow students.
