Much more than a Conference....
------------------------------------------------
This conference is open to the public, service users, researchers, research commissioners and representatives of voluntary sector organisations. The aim is to encourage the sharing of knowledge and learning.
Whether you are new to public involvement in health, or have significant experience of engaging, improving, changing and developing health and service delivery this free event is an opportunity to:
-
Enhance your role as service uses in the improvement of healthcare, wellbeing and services through practical and informative sessions
-
Create awareness of collaborative innovations within the local area which have sought to improve patient care and deliver real improvements to the local health services
-
Find out about Experience Based Design projects - such as the use of a video diary room in a London Black Cab to engage service users, to help shape improvements in the Orthopaedic Clinical Assessment and Treatment Service
-
Network with other service users interested in engaging in health projects
Health and service improvement without involving service users and the public is impossible. You are invited to come along, be inspired and actively take part in the day.
