Building on the previous series of Annual Auxetics Workshops and International Conferences, the 6th International Workshop on Auxetics and Related Systems will discuss the following topics:

• Auxetic Materials
• Systems with extreme mechanical properties including negative stiffness, negative thermal expansion, metamaterials and negative mass.
• Multifunctional systems incorporating negative behaviour
• Composites and structures exhibiting hierarchical properties

These topics will be organised into themed sessions on:

• Fabrication, processing and testing
• Modelling and mechanisms
• Applications and properties

The program will feature keynote speakers, oral presentations and a poster session. Each day will conclude with a wrap up session to tie together the presentations and to look at the way forward for progressing the themes addressed. The Workshop will also host the 6th AuxetNet Young Researchers Forum which includes an invited speaker and provides young researchers with the opportunity to present their work and to network with relevant people in the field.
