Our vacancy advertising service is now organised online via our StudentHub system, and it provides a quick, free way of advertising vacancies to students and graduates. Whatever type of vacancy you are seeking to fill, we can help.
This system allows the advertisement of:
- Immediate vacancies for new and recent graduates
- Summer internships, projects and other work experience schemes
- Vacation work during Summer, Easter and Christmas
- Casual, part-time work of up to 20 hours per week for students to 'earn while they learn'.
The online vacancy system allows our students to search on a wide range of options including location, industry, type of work and contract type. The Careers Service will regularly promote the StudentHub job search function to promote all vacancies held within the service. The Careers Service will also advertise vacancies within the careers office and on career notice boards across the academic Schools.
Post a vacancy online
This system is quick and easy to use and allows you to create and edit vacancies 24/7. Posting a vacancy online gives you control of the content of your advertisement and allows you to keep track of how many 'views' your vacancy has received since posting onto the site.
To access the system please click on: https://studenthub.bolton.ac.uk/employers/
You can use this website to enter graduate, work experience and part-time vacancies.
Please find a comprehensive step-by-step guide on how to register your organisation, and how to advertise a vacancy here.

Many of our students are able to work evenings and weekends. They are flexible and adaptable, and often able to start work at short notice. We have many students who are eager to gain some experience, or develop their skills in a range of sectors. We also have a large percentage of mature students who are highly motivated and conscientious, and who can bring a wide range of skills and experience to your business.
