  • Be directed to the Careers Service website and look at how to access support should you need it.

  • Be made aware of our job search facilities and the support on offer to help you look for part-time and vacation work.

  • Be informed of the careers-related sessions that are available to support you with your career planning.

Second year students should:

  • Have access to advice and guidance in order to research placement and work experience opportunities.
  • Be made aware of your career options and how to assess your skills.

  • Be informed of careers-related sessions that are relevant to you and your subject discipline.

Final year students should:

  • Have access to advice and guidance on all the key job search techniques such as how to compile CVs, covering letters and application forms.
  • Have access to a range of careers-related sessions that will support you in reaching your career goals.

  • Receive a range of information in relation to graduate schemes and deadlines for graduate roles.

  • Receive information on the postgraduate routes that might be available to you.

  • Be given key documents and publications that will help you in your job search.
