Conference and Forum

Research and Innovation Conference

The knowledge and innovation conference is an annual event organised by the University of Bolton to first and foremost bring together research active academics, industrialists and postgraduate students who are at the forefront of creativity and innovation. The aim is to provide a platform for dissemination of research-related information at regional and national level and to allow researchers to present and discuss their latest findings. The three-way interaction between these important communities serves to highlight the research activities of the university, sources of research finance, employment opportunities and perhaps more importantly how best to service the needs of the community and the related industry.
The two day event concludes with formal presentations of cash prizes to the best student paper and poster presentations as judged by a panel of academic and industrial representatives. The proceedings from the event are published and archived as part of an important annual activity of the university.

Research Forum

The research forum forms part of a monthly series of presentation by CMRI postgraduate students and invited industry speakers and its objective, in addition to new knowledge dissemination and exchange, is to enhance the communication skills of postgraduate students and increase their employability prospects.
