Our research philosophy is unique in that most of the doctoral students work on a specific industry based projects supervised by the research team at the centre. These students work four days a week at the company partner on specific research project and use the remaining one day for their research activities at the University. All the academic and enterprise research projects have been developed to suit both the companies and the research interests of the students. The findings from the research activities of a wide range of projects form a core part of the doctoral theses of the team and feed into the teaching curriculum as case studies.
