An investigation into Aircraft Undercarriages

Commercial jet aviation is an exceptionally safe way to travel. More than three million people around the world fly safely on commercial aircraft every day. The risks of being involved in a commercial aircraft accident where there are multiple fatalities are approximately one in three million. The aim of this project is to investigate specific items of the undercarriage and to establish how safe they actually are and which parts are prone to failure.
