The BA (Hons) in Accountancy will give you a strong academic and vocational background for a professional career in accountancy. It will also support your career development, if you are considering a broader management role, as it will provide you with the financial knowledge which is central to a great deal of business activity.
The course draws on the latest practices and theories of accounting and covers the two key areas of financial accounting and reporting and management accounting as well as offering a number of optional modules that may be selected for study in your final year.

The LLB (Hons) Law degree at the University of Bolton will prepare you for practice in the legal profession as a solicitor or barrister. An LLB law degree is highly regarded by many employers and you may choose to use this qualification as the basis for graduate level entry into other careers for example in commerce, industry, the civil service and the armed forces.
Through study on this challenging and demanding course you will gain a thorough grounding in the discipline of law. You will develop the transferable intellectual and personal skills which are essential for the practice of law and which will also equip you for many other careers.
