All aspects of design and development are covered with special emphasis on the acquisition of appropriate practical skills and an understanding of the associated technology.

Emerging applications such as the use of multimedia in mobile phones, interactive television, network games etc. are also included.

Students will be able to create interactive web and multimedia material incorporating graphics, animation, video, sound, virtual reality, e-commerce, databases etc. using appropriate design packages and relevant scripting/programming languages.

Supporting skills are acquired in operating, managing and administering computer systems, networks and applications software.
