October 2008 sees the launch of our new suite of Business Management degrees, which will allow students to study Business Management| as a single subject, but they can also choose to take additional modules in disciplines such as Marketing|, HRM|, Tourism| and Languages|.

Existing students can transfer to the new programmes, or, if they wish, they can remain on their original course.

Two of our undergraduate courses, the full-time HND Business Studies and the part-time HNC Business Studies can be completed in two years. A major attraction of these programmes is that successful students with good grades can either transfer seamlessly to a degree programme, or they can step-off the academic ladder at the end of two years with a recognised qualification.

Student who wish to 'top-up' these qualifications can normally do so over periods ranging from as little as one year for an HND award holder to 2.5 years for a HNC graduate who wishes to continue to study on a part-time basis.

All our courses are characterised by some of the best staff to student ratios in the sector.  It is rare for classes to comprise more than 50 students, which means there are much higher levels of interaction and direct contact between students and lecturers.

Another key feature of all our courses is the emphasis on the application and use of academic theory in practical situations.  Case studies are a major focus for our teaching as we give our students the opportunity to develop relevant, professional and vocational skills designed to succeed in their chosen careers.
