Our pre-degree range of courses include:

• Access to HE Diploma: Business Management (full-time / part-time) 
• Access to HE Diploma: Business Management for International Students (full-time)
• English Foundation Programme (full-time)

We have developed a very successful Access to HE Diploma in Business Management which provides an invaluable stepping stone for students, from the UK and abroad, who wish to study on one of our courses but do not have recognised academic qualifications.  Our full-time Access to HE Diploma has the major advantage that it can be completed in an intensive, one-semester course, saving time and accommodation costs.  Alternatively, it can be studied part-time over two semesters.  In some cases individual units can be studied in the Business School or in the workplace.

It is particularly popular with students, often mature applicants, who have ended their education prematurely and taken up employment immediately on leaving school.  The Access to HE Diploma is also extremely popular with our International Students when it is combined with our English Foundation Programme as it develops a firm base in academic disciplines and English as an academic and social skill. 

Our English Foundation Programme aims to help improve and develop students English language abilities so that they can successfully study on our University programmes.  Options available include intensive four week pre-enrolment programmes, which also incorporate essential study skills, to weekly classes over one or two semesters.  IELTS levels are assessed both at the beginning and end of all courses to demonstrate and monitor progress.

Students enrolling on the intensive enrolment programmes are entitled to a refund of the relevant fee when they come to pay their fees for their second year of study at the University, or when they graduate, if this is sooner.
