Course Advice Day : September 7th 2010

They are more intimate than our open days and offer you the chance to chat individually to tutors from each academic school and find out more about your course of interest. School tutors will be able to give you detailed information about the course.

Representatives from the disability service, student finance team and careers service will also usually be on hand to discuss any additional support needs you may have, advise you regarding tuition fees, student finance and funding as well as offer guidance regarding your future career and increasing your employability

Don’t forget that 25% discount of tuition fees is available for most courses.

Mentors

In the autumn we will be launching a new mentoring scheme for our undergraduate students with the aim of improving graduates employability skills and help inspire them to new career heights. Do you think you could volunteer a few hours a term and approx three meetings a year? It can be very rewarding for mentors, and a great opportunity to develop your own professional development programmes and receive general sense of satisfaction in helping others.
